Questions

What is Aeraway?

Aeraway is a private aviation services company that grants you access to personalized private air travel. We do the due diligence to find you the best aircraft and price for every trip.

Why Fly Aeraway?

Aeraway’s Key Strategies that save you money

  • We advise on the most cost-effective aircraft for each trip without limiting you to a fixed fleet.
  • As aircrafts are dispersed geographically, we can eliminate positioning costs, further saving you money.
  • We proactively search for discounted “empty legs: matching your routing to reduce costs.
  • We serve as your advocate to eliminate unnecessary charges & fees.

Rather than locking you into a fixed rate structure like most jet card & membership programs, we work hard to find you the best price for every trip you take.

As an Aeraway client, you pay only the actual cost of each flight rather than a fixed rate, which invariably includes avoidable expenses.

While easy to understand, the fixed-rate approach is disadvantageous for consumers as avoidable expenses, hidden fees, and exorbitant overhead & marketing costs are automatically built-in.

Are there long-term commitments?

There are no-long term commitments or asset purchase requirements, ongoing management fees or membership dues or fees. 100% of your funds go towards the flights you need.

How does the Aeraway process work?

Simple. Request your flight-> We handle the details-> Enjoy your flight.

  1. Tell us where you want to go, when, number of passengers that will be flying with you.
  2. We arrange the right aircraft at the best price for your trip.
  3. All planning and flight arrangements will be taken care of.

We pay special attention to all of the following:

  • Your itinerary and special requirements
  • Pilot experience and background
  • Aircraft quality, history, and safety
  • Weather impacts & potential delays
  • All regulatory requirements, TFRs/NOTAMs, etc.

How does Aeraway differ from Fractional programs?

Aeraway lets you easily book on-demand charters with à la carte pricing. Our clientele does not own fractional jet shares or pay us membership fees. Fractional-programs lock members into a specific type of aircraft, while Aeraway provides tailored recommendations allowing you with the flexibility to choose the ideal aircraft for each trip.

How early do I need to arrive?

Please plan to arrive at the airport/FBO no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. Your flight crew coordinates with the air traffic controllers (ATC) to ensure a timely departure. Avoid unnecessary delays and potential charges by arriving on time.

What Make & Model Aircraft Are Used?

We only use third-party verified and audited aircraft, ensuring all of your flights are safe and comfortable.

How safe are the aircraft?

Safety is our # 1 concern at Aeraway. We work with the finest operators, maintain internal records on all the aircraft we provide, and at no time will compromise passenger or pilot safety to complete a flight.

Aeraway’s own FAA verification process

Aeraway considers the following factors in ranking direct air carriers:

How do I know the private jet is safe?

All flights booked with Aeraway will be with registered charter operators under their national civil aviation authority. Additionally, all aircraft and crew have been audited and background checked by a third-party safety auditing company such as ARGUS international to ensure safety. Out of over 7,000 private jets available in the charter market, only 1,200 meet Aeraway’s quality standards.

What certifications are required to operate private charter flights?

To operate private charter flights, an aircraft must obtain an FAA Part 135 certificate. Part 135 is the FAA classification for commuter and on-demand air carrier operations. The initial requirements to obtain a Part 135 certificate are comprehensive.
